The last time I was up in Canada visiting my amigos at YYZ Records, I took some time out to film a performance and interview with Toro Magazine, a “men’s entertainment” rag from the wintery shores of North Mexico (aka Canada).
I chose to perform a song 123, XYZ which will be coming out on YYZ Records later this year.

I was interviewed by the folks over at Antisteez.com. I’m still not quite sure what a steez is or why exactly one would be opposed to it.

A great extended two page interview and write up by John Hood over on BlackBook.com. I chatted with John right before going on at Awarehouse. One quick correction: I was born in Scotland, not California.

BlackBook.com Interview
In anticipation for this weekend’s show with The Pinker Tones (España) at Awarehouse in Miami, I was interviewed by NBC Miami for the event. They also had some awfully nice things to say about me. Read on!
To say that Panic Bomber is the Next Big Thing to come outta Miami is to say what smart Miami folks have already been saying for some time. In fact, last year the post-Disco, neo-Glam superstar-to-be racked up enough “Bests” to beat just about everybody in town. But when you’ve created a cosmos that gets the whole city swingin,’ you don’t need to compete; you just need to be. And Panic Bomber is. Period.

Pretty stellar review of my show with The Twelves last week at Wrong Bar in Toronto
Excitement for the Twelves was palpable, but no one looked more psyched than Panic Bomber (aka Richard Haig). The dance floor quickly filled up, and 10 minutes into his opening set he could have been mistaken for the headliner.

NOW Magazine Show Review
This was a great interview to do. While initially I was apprehensive about an email interview, the questions were open-ended enough that I could just riff on about them and ramble. It was pleasant to vocalize (typealize?) concepts I’ve been batting around in my head for a while.
