One listen to his debut solo electro-techno-disco concoction Getting on My Mind, and there’s no question Haig’s made the right move. He’s definitely a true madman on the synths: Check out his orchestral-electro work on “A Giant Tortoise.” But he also demonstrates a versatile vocal range too, going from piercing Bee Gees-style falsettos one minute to a baritone croon the next on the album’s title track. His accessible lyrics add a personal touch that will win over those pensive college radio types as well.

Toca musica electronica con influencia de Disco, Funk y Pop, es bien agradable! Cuando toca en vivo lo hace con una banda completa asi que el varón sabe como es la movida.

Ah, that quote sounds like it’s probably a compliment about the album! Merci!
Wait… hold on a second… what does this say?

We are pedophiles? What the hell? I swear her ID said she was older than eighteen.
Or perhaps I’m accused of loving people named Pedro.

Off the Radar
…it is everything we’ve come to expect from him. Dirty dance beats and slick vocal work. It’s fan-freakin-tastic and very dancefloor friendly. So crazy when I hear him played on our local college radio station 90.5 all the time now. He deserves it. An amazing showman that will surely go far.

A friend of mine who works in the “music biz” passed along Panic Bomber’s album “Getting on My Mind” last week and I’ve been trying to get it out of my mind ever since. When first listening to the album I felt that Richard Haig … was headed into well-treaded territory. But his ever-changing vocals, memorable lyrics and experimental instrumentation changed my opinion. “Getting on My Mind” is a musical ride through pure emotion and personal dilemmas. Tracks like “A Giant Tortoise” and “Keep Ignoring” set him apart from the hundreds of new artists in the ever expanding Electronica genre.
