MapAction, Engineers without Borders

For the next week, 100% of download sales will be donated to MapAction and Engineers without Borders.

Help Haiti. Get Panic Bomber.

As a musician, I neither have much money nor many useful labor skills for disaster relief. I believe the best way I can be of use to people in need is to donate my entertainment to people who may have the economic means to help those in deeper need. If you like, you may think about it as donating to a charity and getting Panic Bomber material as a reward. Therefor if you purchase a Panic Bomber download between Tues Jan 19 – Mon Jan 25, 100% of the proceeds will go to the MapAction and Engineers without Borders charities. If you would like a CD, all but the manufacturing cost will go to charity. I will cover the shipping costs out-of-pocket. Thank you.

MapAction

MapAction puts cartographers and researchers on the ground in disaster areas to better inform other relief workers where help is most needed.

Engineers without Borders

Engineers without Borders does not provide disaster relief however they provide longer term infrastructure support which is essential to preventing future mishaps.

How does one participate?
Go now to BandCamp.PanicBomber.com. Support a good cause and get feel-good entertainment for your good will.

Thank you.

Miami NewTimes’ Best Albums of 2009

One listen to his debut solo electro-techno-disco concoction Getting on My Mind, and there’s no question Haig’s made the right move. He’s definitely a true madman on the synths: Check out his orchestral-electro work on “A Giant Tortoise.” But he also demonstrates a versatile vocal range too, going from piercing Bee Gees-style falsettos one minute to a baritone croon the next on the album’s title track. His accessible lyrics add a personal touch that will win over those pensive college radio types as well.
